Fee Guide
Your first appointment with Riccarda will be a free Zoom call to find out what bothers you about your teeth and what you would like to change about your smile. We will then chat through possible brace options and treatments and provide an estimate of your potential treatment costs. This Zoom call is a really nice, relaxed way to meet, but it can obviously only give you ideas about possible work and costs needed. If you think you would like to proceed with treatment, we will then book a face to face appointment at the Practice
Your first private appointment at Birchington Orthodontic Practice costs £85*.
At your first visit you will be given a full dental and orthodontic examination. A clear explanation will be given, of what can be achieved for you and which brace options and choices would suit you best. All necessary records such as study models and X-rays and where needed a second appointment to discuss more complex treatment plans are included in the £85 fee.
*(£85 is payable at the time of booking the appointment and a refundable deposit of £100 is also taken at time of booking. These fees are subject to change.)
Private Treatment Costs
Treatment costs vary depending upon the type of braces used, the complexity and length of treatment. Prices vary between £1,000-£8,000. The majority of treatments for adults cost between £4,000-£5,000 and for children £2,000-£2,500. This includes the fitting and supervision of retainers for 1 year.
We will provide you with a written quotation showing the different payment options including a 5% discount for advance payment (due to reduced administration costs) and interest-free monthly payment plans, subject to status.
Hygiene and maintenance
If you would like to see our hygienist as part of your treatment there is a charge of £45*.
Any work that your own dentist needs to carry out, such as check-ups and maintenance, restorations or extractions is not included in the given price and must be discussed independently with your own dentist.
